Melissa in the Morning: Rethinking Screens in School

Connecticut families are getting together to rethink how kids use technology. The Screen Smart Initiative is hosting community events focused on reducing screen time, encouraging device-free schools, and giving children more opportunities for play, connection and independence. We spoke with Representative Jen Leeper, Chair of the Education Committee and Regina von Gootkin of the Smart Screen Initiative.
