New privacy protections are coming to Connecticut October first. The Attorney General says new laws will give consumers more control over genetic data, facial recognition and precise location information, while limiting surveillance pricing. The laws also set new rules for AI, including protections for children using chatbots and requirements for employers using AI. We spoke with Senator James Maroney who was a key legislative sponsor of the 2026 AI and privacy legislation.
