Highways can feel strangely unsettling because they stretch for miles through isolated landscapes, leaving travelers surrounded by vast emptiness and a sense of vulnerability.
During the quiet hours of the night, the endless asphalt, distant headlights, and fleeting shadows can make the road feel almost disconnected from the world around it.
There is something unnerving about driving through darkness with no buildings, people, or familiar landmarks in sight, unsure of what might be waiting beyond the reach of your headlights. Add in stories of accidents, roadside crimes, disappearances, and eerie highway legends, and even an ordinary journey can begin to feel like a trip into somewhere unknown.
