What Happened After the Voice Said “Come Here”? | Real Ghost Stories CLASSIC

Growing up in an old house in northern Maine, strange sounds and unexplained activity were simply part of the background. Doors slammed when no one was there, footsteps moved through empty rooms, and he repeatedly dreamed of reaching the top of the same staircase only to encounter something dark waiting for him.

For years, he assumed they were just nightmares. Then he learned his brother had been having recurring dreams centered on that exact same spot in the house.

But one childhood memory still bothers him more than any dream. Standing at the bottom of those stairs, he heard a low voice from above tell him to “come here.”

The next thing he remembers, he was back in the kitchen with his family. Nearly half an hour had passed.

So what happened in the time he can’t remember?
