Three friends arrive in Nepal determined to conquer Mera Peak before their vacation days run out. They have climbing experience, a tight budget, and every reason to believe the warnings about an off-season ascent are overly cautious. Clear skies and easy progress seem to prove them right. Then the snow begins, an injury slows their pace, and one of them claims a stranger has been watching him sleep inside his tent. There are no unfamiliar tracks outside, and his companions are reluctant to believe him. But as visibility dwindles and the distance between the climbers grows, the possibility that someone is following them becomes harder to dismiss.
