The Be-Lo Murders | Lying in Wait After Closing

On June 6, 1993, an armed man robbed the Be-Lo Supermarket in Windsor, North Carolina, before forcing six employees to the back of the store.

There, the employees were directed to bind each other before the gunman attacked them with a gun and a butcher knife. Three of the victims died, while three survived.

Despite the survivors helping investigators create a composite sketch, more than 33 years later, no one has ever been arrested. The triple homicide remains unsolved, and investigators are still searching for the person, or people, responsible.
