Melissa in the Morning: Camera Recommendations

The Connecticut Police Officer Standards and Training Council is recommending changes to the state’s speed and red-light camera rules. The council says camera data should remain separate from license plate reader systems. The recommendations come as 19 municipal camera plans have been approved by the state DOT since late 2024.
