Connecticut has set an ambitious goal: 100-percent voter participation by 2030. A new state task force is exploring ways to boost turnout, particularly in local elections, where participation is much lower. Ideas include automatic voter registration, greater civic education and making it easier for young people to vote. The group must deliver recommendations to lawmakers by February. We spoke with Miles Rapaport, Executive Director at 100% Democracy and co-chair of the new task force.
