Before Caleb Flynn was sentenced to life without parole for the murder of Ashley Flynn, his parents filed letters asking the court for mercy. His father wrote that his son’s actions were not consistent with who he has always been. His mother said he has repented to his Lord. Neither parent wrote Ashley’s name. Neither mentioned the granddaughters. Psychotherapist Shavaun Scott joins Tony Brueski to analyze what these letters reveal about the family that raised Caleb Flynn.
