The Government says the latest compromise peace deal presented by IGAD does not resolve all of their concerns.

Spokesperson of the President Ateny Wek Ateny says issues such as maintaining two national armies and the role of Riek Machar are a 'compromise to the sovereignty of Sudan'.

The latest peace deal presented by the IGAD Plus grouping was handed to delegations from both sides of the conflict last week for final deliberations and hopes that a final peace deal can be reached by the middle of August.

Speaking to Miraya's Sebit William, he said the deal will be analysed by the President and the delegation and they will make the final decision whether the deal can be adopted.
