Communities must be engaged in peace building, says UNMISS Civil Affairs Chief

The Head of the Civil Affairs Division of the United Nations Mission in South Sudan, says conflict management at local levels should be seen by the national government, donors, and NGO’s as a cornerstone for building bridges for the bigger peace.

In an exclusive Interview with Miraya Breakfast Show, Ali Hassan said; unless you build the local level; peace initiative and build that bridge from one boma, to the next Payam, to the next county and the next state, the overall peace implementation at the national level will not hold,”
