UNSC visits PoC site and Church compound sheltering IDPs in Wau

The UN Security Council delegation travelled to Wau in South Sudan’s Western Bahr el Ghazal region on Sunday, to meet with internally displaced people and to see for themselves the prevailing humanitarian and security conditions.

Ambassador Samantha Power made this statement after the tour of the PoC site located adjacent to the UNMISS base in Wau.
