President Museveni advises TGoNU to Stop the war, stir country to Elections

“I would appeal to the transitional government headed by the President and all the other stakeholders to stop all actions involving the security so that the people focus on the elections, all fighting should stop so that the people of South Sudan can regain their power," - President Yoweri Museveni speaking at the end of a one day official visit to Juba.

#Uganda's President Museveni arrived in Juba today for a one day official visit, during which he held a closed door meeting with President Salva Kiir at the presidential palace in Juba.

Addressing a Joint news conference in Juba, President Museveni said urged the Transitional Government of National Unity to stop the war and stir the country to elections.

On his part President Salva Kiir said that he is keen to take President Museveni’s advice seriously.
