Civil Society urge President Kiir to expedite work of national dialogue steering committee

Civil Society is urging the President to expedite the work of the team tasked with organizing the national dialogue.

The Jonglei Institute of Peace, Democracy and Development is concerned that there does not appear to be any headway since President Salva Kiir announced plans for the dialogue mid-December.

The organizations Executive Director, Mach Samuel says the dialogue is needed to reconcile the people ahead of the general elections.

Mr. Mach spoke to David Majur in this interview.
