UN Secretary General stresses need for credible systems of accountability in South Sudan

The United Nations Secretary General, António Guterres calls for ‘credible mechanisms for accountability for atrocities in South Sudan and outlines three immediate objectives to redeem the country ‘from the abyss."

He said this in a statement delivered to the UN Security council on Thursday.
