The #SouthSudan Union of Journalists – an organization that unites journalists in South Sudan, is asking government to review its decision on the blocked websites.

Radio Tamazuj and the Sudan Tribune websites wer blocked almost three weeks ago on grounds that they were filing hostile stories against the government.

Oliver Modi, Chairperson of the Union of Journalists, however says blocking websites curtails dialogue with the masses.

In an interview with Radio Miraya's Micheal Wondi, Modi made an impassioned plea to the government asking that websites be unblocked, so people can have access to diverse opinions.
