JMEC Chairperson pleads for action on forgiveness and Reconciliation in Christmas message

The chairperson of the Joint Monitoring and Evaluation Commissin, Festus Mogae, has urged the government and citizens to address the country’s problems with “forgiveness, reconciliation and healing.”

Festus Mogae focused on peaceful resolution of the conflict in his Christmas message this year, saying huge efforts have been underway by IGAD and the region to bring the leaders to the table to navigate their pathway to peace.

Festus Mogae, a former President of Botswana reminded all south Sudanese to light a candle of peace in their homes this Christmas.
