South Sudan Defense Minister says US Sanctions thaw Peace efforts in South Sudan

South Sudan Minister of Defense and Veterans’ Affairs, Kuol Manyang Juuk, sharply denounced the sanctions Slapped on the country by the United States of America on February 02nd, saying it threatens prospects of positive results from the peace talks. 

 "I would really like to call on America to withdraw the sanctions, it’s not a healthy decision" Kuol Manyang Juuk said in an interview with Gabriel Shaddar after the Department of State announced that it is implementing restrictions on the export of defense articles and defense services into South Sudan.
