Ministry of health reports decline in Rift Valley fever cases

The number of new rift valley fever cases diagnosed in Eastern Lakes state has reached its lowest point, health ministry authorities have said.
Dr. Matthew Tut, the Director for emergencies, preparedness in the National ministry of Health, said there have been no new cases reported over the recent weeks. He said some few cases were reported among animals but not in humans.
Dr. Tut attributed the decline in Rift valley fever cases to massive awareness campaign.
