ICRC New Communications officer aims to highlight the plight of the voiceless in South Sudan

Sarah Alzawqari, from Yemen was a spokesperson for the International Committee of the Red Cross in Iraq for 24 months and is now the new communications officer for the #ICRC office in #SouthSudan.
Sarah’s role is key to ensure respect for the life and dignity of people affected by armed conflict and other situations of violence. “The pain is one no matter where you are,” says Sarah.
She joined Irene Lasu on Miraya Breakfast show to talk about her new assignment in South Sudan.
