Security to be determinant factor for aid flow in Leer, says ICRC

The International Committee of the Red Cross, #ICRC is planning a distribution exercise targeting some 48,000 people in dire need of humanitarian assistance in Leer.
Last week the ICRC was granted access to deliver a consignment of aid to more than 8,000 displaced families in Leer after weeks of fighting.
The delivery was the first time the ICRC has been able to provide relief in the area since March, when teams delivered seeds and farming tools that were lost or looted while clashes broke out.
Erika Tovar, ICRC Communications Officer says that the continuous flow of assistance to Leer is highly dependent on the security situation on ground.
