Olympio Attipoe, Commissioner General of the South Sudan Revenue authority, is using his first few months in office to take stock on of the progress made by the taxation body.
Speaking to Sani Martin on Nationwide program, Attipoe said the government has come up with the revenue modernization reform, to make sure that service delivery is more effective.
"The only way to get the resources is to make sure that we restructure the system to be more efficient, so that the linkages and the loopholes in the system can be blocked so that we can get more money to provide services to the people."
Attipoe said the South Sudan National Revenue Authority will be fully operational by 2022.
"By 2022, we want the NRA to be full operational so that you can be watching our website and know what is happening, Parliament will be receiving reports from us showing how much has been generated quarterly, and then you will see our offices working professionally,"
