A new song is being launched in Juba today as part of a broad campaign to promote peace and build harmony.

The song titled ‘The power of Unity’ is part of the ‘Unity Campaign’ spearheaded by the Youth empowerment Organization - a local non-profit organization advocating for youth rights.

Daniel Mwaka, executive director of the Youth Empowerment group says the song features different languages and seeks to heal divisions.

“There are eight artists in this song and all of them sang different languages,” Mwaka said, stressing the diverse approach to preaching unity.

Mwaka and one of the song composers, Lodum Charles Henry spoke to the Miraya Breakfast Show hosts Abraham Malek and Robert Ohia in this interview.
