UNFPA Protecting women's sexual and reproductive health and rights South Sudan

The global theme for this year’s IWD is “Think Equal, Build Smart, Innovate for Change.”

In South Sudan, the Government will use the occasion to push for increased women’s participation in decision-making and has adopted the national theme, “Think Equal: Make 35% women’s participation count.”

In this light, UNFPA is supporting the Ministry of Gender, Child and Social Welfare in promoting the objectives of IWD at the national level as well as in the field where UNFPA is present.
