CMMB: Giving former ‘child-solders’ in Yambio a new lease on life

The Catholic Medical Mission Board (CMMB) has dedicated itself to helping former children associated with conflict in Western Equatoria rediscover their youth and innocence.
The Catholic-based NGO is working in collaboration with partners such as World food Program and UNICEF to deliver locally sustainable, quality nutritional and psychosocial solutions.
exerts efforts to reduce trauma from vulnerable children especially the children associated with armed conflict in Western Equatoria.
Last year more than one thousand children associated with armed conflict were released in Western Equatroria.
They were rehabilitated and handed food rations and basic packages to restart their lives.
