“I have forgiven my husband’s killers,” widow of slain critic Aggrey Idri speaks out

The wife of opposition figure Aggrey Ezbon Idri says she has forgiven the people behind her husband’s apparent death and describes him as a true ‘patriot’ and ‘hero.’
In a heartfelt interview with Radio Miraya on phone from Nairobi, Kenya - Aya Warille said the news of Aggrey’s death has put to rest her anxiety and uncertainty.
A UN report that came to light on Tuesday revealed that opposition supporter Aggrey Ezbon Idri and human rights lawyer Dong Samuel were kidnapped in Kenya on the 23rd and 24th of January 2017 and killed on the 27th in Luri in the outskirts of Juba.
Warille said the information allows her to start the process of healing.
Warille said the South Sudan government must provide justice and answers for her husband’s apparent death.
She spoke to Radio Miraya in this interview.
