UNDP taps into young minds in latest round of South Sudan Youth Innovation Challenge

The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) is conducting its latest Youth Innovation Challenge in search for innovative solutions to addressing some of the country’s most pressing challenges.  

This year’s challenge calls on youth to submit proposals on creative solutions to enhance agricultural development and food security. 

Entries are open to South Sudanese nationals aged between 18 and 34 and must be submitted online or in person by next Tuesday. 

A jury will then choose the best concepts and determine the winners of the competition. 

UNDP South Sudan Country Director, Kamil Kamaludeen says the ultimate objective of the challenge is to tap into the young and fresh minds of the country’s youth.
