Electrification of entire Juba city to complete before end of this year.

The South Sudan Ministry of Electricity and Dams yesterday commissioned a new powerplant in Gumbo, east of Juba town.

The Ezra Power Plan Project will start its first phase of power transmission to more than 3,000 pre-paid consumers in Juba town, before expanding to the rest of Juba. 

Minister of Electricity and Dams Dhieu Mathok said the generators will supply the whole of Juba. He spoke to Miraya breakfast this morning
