A group of civil society and political analysts have described government’s decision to relax restriction in the prevention of covid 19 as a wrong, political decision.
Serving as panelists on the Miraya Breakfast Show, Jame Kolok, the chairperson of Civil society alliance, Mach Andrea, a political commentator, and civil society activists Christine Kide and Edmund Yakani said the government has since failed to provide reasons behind the latest decision.
On the issue of disagreement over the allocation of the states, the panelists told Miraya’s Sebit William, that the government needs to attach utmost importance to the appointment of state governors.
They however said the delay in the appointment is a lack of political will.
