European Union announces 1.4 million Euros support for floods victims

European Union says the over one million Euros announced recently for floods victims in the Country will go towards provision of shelter and water.

Last week the European Union announced one point four million Euros assistance to flood victims in South Sudan. 
EU’s Head of Humanitarian Aid, Heather Blackwell says the funds is to compliment the efforts of other humanitarian actors on the ground.
Meanwhile, the European Union says it will continue to support any initiative that can bring about a stable and sustainable peace in South Sudan. 

Speaking to Radio Miraya, the Head of Political, Press and Information Section Alessandro Rossi said, it is important that the peace agreement is fully implemented. 
He said implementing the agreement is not about satisfying the request of the international community but for the future and rights of all South Sudanese.
