South Sudan WFP Country rep welcomes the 2020 Nobel Peace prize award

The United Nations World Food Program has been awarded the 2020  Nobel Peace prize for its  efforts to combat hunger, bettering conditions for peace in conflict-affected areas and for acting as a driving force in efforts to prevent the use of hunger as a weapon of war 
The Norwegian Nobel Committee said the WFP had acted "as a driving force in efforts to prevent the use of hunger as a weapon of war and conflict
WFP Country representative Mathew Hollingworth welcomes the award and reassured of their dedication to work with the citizens, government and other partners in South Sudan to create a prosperous, safe and food secure future.
