Ep 182: #YoungCarersCount pt2 with Carers Trust and Sir Ed Davey
Nov 30, 2020, 06:00 AM
It's part two of our focus on the impact of lockdown on Young Carers across the country.
Last week we heard about the first hand experience of Carers, today we here what help is, and should, be available to them.
Mick's guests are both former Young Carers. Gareth Howells is now CEO of the Carers Trust, and Sir Ed Davey is the Leader of the Lib Dems.
Gareth sets out some of the findings of their report into the mental health impact of lockdown on Carers.
Sir Ed tells Mick why he's keen to take #YoungCarersCount to Parliament.
