Former leader of the Anya Anya movement Joseph Lagu reportedetly recovering from covid-19

Former Vice President of Sudan and leader of the Anya-Nya liberation movement, Joseph Lagu is making encouraging recovery from covid-19 illness at a London hospital. 

Speaking from London, his daughter Martina Lagu Yanga says her father is now much better than he was a week ago, when he was first rushed to the hospital. 

Martina said Lagu is currently undergoing rehabilitation to ease his mobility. 

The 89-year-old Lagu and his spouse were admitted after contracting the virus, however the wife remains in a critical condition.
