Acting UN Humanitarian Coordinator says conflict in addition to climate change deprive people their livelihoods in South Sudan

The acting United Nations Humanitarian Coordinator in South Sudan says conflict in addition to climate change has deprived people their livelihoods in the country.

Arafat Jamal Araft  says Ayod in Jonglei State is one of the areas in South Sudan that show how climate change has impacted on the local communities.

He made the statement on the World Humanitarian Day which is celebrated annually on the 19th of August.
