Stakeholders reflect on President Salva Kiir’s press briefing

The past few days have created uncertainty in South Sudan, in as far as the implementation of the peace agreement is concerned. This led to a lot of speculation among citizens, especially after the SPLM-IO withdrew from the security arrangement mechanism meeting last week. Yesterday, the President of the republic of South Sudan held a press briefing addressing some of the concerns. Miraya breakfast this morning featured Professor Abraham Kuol Nyuon, a lecturer at the University of Juba and a civil society activist Lona Merekaje who gave more perspective on yesterday’s presidential speech.
