Across the globe young people are brought together to brainstorm new ideas to solve problems, to make improvements, to introduce the next big thing.
In episode five of the weekender Lucy Kiden speaks two young South Sudanese innovators who are solving important problems in the country while building new industries and sectors from scratch. On how the young people can be more innovative.
Yine Yenki Nyika is the Co-founder/ Mentorship Director at GoGirls ICT Initiative. Yine also sits on the board of NCA communication Authority. She is building a lab to produce sanitizers using products and resources sourced only in South Sudan.

Mayang Tut, a fomer boda driver who holds a bachelor degree in human Resources management and is the winner of the Youth Innovators Challenge South Sudan. He is the brain behind Nile Boda. The Nile Boda team just won the national leg of the EAC digital innovation challenge. Mayang and his team will be going to represent South Sudan at the end of May competing against other teams from across EA.
