WFP delivers food to conflict affected Leer

The United Nations World Food Program says it is delivering food to populations affected by conflict in Leer County in Unity State. Thousands of people were displaced in the area and scores killed following violence that started in April. Acting WFP Country Director Adeyinka Badejo says despite being overstretch by lack of funds, the humanitarian agency has already dispatched assistance to the area.

She said this during the Miraya breakfast show with Irene Lasu this morning.
