Round Table: Political Parties dialogue; a pathway to nurturing peace in South Sudan

Over sixty Political Parties both registered and unregistered gathered this week in Juba for a three-day round table discussion on the creation of a monthly Political Parties Dialogue Platform as a pathway to nurturing Peace and Stability in South Sudan.

The round table dialogue which was organized by the Ministry of Peace Building in partnership with United Nations Women aims to promote the participation and ownership of the different political parties in the constitutional making process, and also to effectively participate in Peace building activities for peaceful coexistence and social cohesion among the citizens of South Sudan.

So, we ask with less than ten months to the end of the interim period, can this initiative help in the implementation of the revitalized peace agreement of 2018?
