UNMISS gears up for this year’s World Environment Day commemoration.

The natural world demands coexistence among all living and non-living things. However, this natural occurrence has for long been under threat due to human activity. June 5th is World Environment Day, set aside to help raise awareness on the importance of protecting the environment. This morning, Miraya breakfast tapped into some of the activities lined up by the UNMISS Environmental and Occupational Safety and Health Unit.
