Parties to the 2018 revitalized peace agreement this week extended the transitional period by two years, to start at the end of the transitional period on the 22nd of February next year - 2023.
Details of how the government plans to accomplish the pending tasks, with their timelines over the 24-month period are contained in what is known as a ‘Road Map,’ that guides the country to elections that have now been set for December 2024.
