President Salva Kiir has called on East African leaders to collectively strengthen inter-regional trade and cooperation.
He made the statement during the celebration to mark the 60th anniversary of Uganda, in the capital Kampala today.
President Kiir joined other leaders from the East African Community member states, including Kenyan President William Ruto.
President Kiir says it is only through cooperation that the region can achieve the objectives of economic prosperity.
