SPLA-IO forces displaced as floods submerge cantonment site in Unity State

More than three thousand forces of the SPLA-IO have been displaced after floods submerged the Ding-ding cantonment site in Ruboka county - Unity state.
Some of the troops have been relocated to Bentiu and Rubkona town while others have been transferred to Tong, where SSPDF forces are based.
Spokesperson of the SPLA-IO, Col. Lam Paul Gabriel told Radio Miraya this afternoon that a letter has been sent to the Joint Military Ceasefire Commission requesting it to identify another site for the displaced forces.
Col Lam says the other two sites in Unity state namely, Mirmir for the SPLA-IO and Moum for SSOA forces have also been affected by the floods.
