Luol Deng named the most patriotic South Sudanese

Luol Ajou Deng OBE is a former professional basketball player, born in what is now South Sudan. In his early life, Deng and his family left for the United States of America where they eventually settled. He took up basketball as a career, where he excelled to become a two-time NBA All-Star and was named to the NBA All-Defensive Second Team in 2012. Deng is currently the president of the basketball federation of South Sudan. He has been named the most patriotic South Sudanese by South Sudan Activists Forum. The organization’s representative Perinho Garang Manut featured on the Miraya breakfast show this morning.
