Contemplating an eternity alone this week is writer, director and producer Rob Valentine who – as this is a Doctor Who podcast – you probably know best for his many audio dramas for Big Finish. In his own words, his writing “combines secret or hidden histories, adventure and a dash of the fantastic – be that magic, horror, the paranormal or science fiction.” As well as his Big Finish work, he’s created audio drama for Audible, BMW Original Podcasts, the Wireless Theatre Company and Quinn Inc – for whom he directed erotic audio series The Inventor’s Apprentice for Quinn, Inc. For BBC Radio he adapted Howl’s Moving Castle, Murmurs and cold war thriller series Red Moon which won Best Online Audio Drama at the 2019 BBC Audio Drama Awards.
