Emergency Rooms, what type of ER is right for you!

Emergency Rooms also known as emergency department can be confusing when you are in need. In many cities you will see free standing emergency rooms open 24 hours a day. However, many patients see a Level 3 when they need a Level 1 ER. A level 1 is the highest level with immediately available specialists, surgeons and anesthesiologist available to handle the complicated injuries, immediate life threatening conditions like a heart attack or stroke, while others offer an urgent care service that may not be critical.
We will review Level 1 to Level 5. a simple answer is if you have a life threatening injury, require surgery, stroke or heart attack you need a Level 1 Emergency Room/Department those are always connected to a hospital for immediate hospitalization. Let's listen and review the options together.
