When the store’s septic tank becomes clogged yet again, Dave turns to the 2003 Sci-Fi flop “The Core” for an idea of how to help remove the blockage and save everyone from a fecal disaster of epic proportions.
This is David Snider, Mission Log:
With our extensive four hour training course complete we are now ready to set sail into the unknown. It’s as if we’re diving…through the memories of the planet. But we are about to pass from memory…into madness. A madness caused by our insatiable need for 33% Grade-A Beef, aka: Taco Bell.
Joined by my stalwart companions and movie buffs, Ryan, Mike, and explosives expert, Cody, our mission is to fix the problem at the core of our store’s septic tank and bring an end to the crisis that we ourselves caused. To do this, we have scoured our shelves for any films dealing with drilling to previously unthought of depths - and believe me when I tell you, we’ve found the perfect one.
Topics of discussion in this episode include the shockingly bad Playstation 1 style visual effects of The Core; we dissect the Shuttle Landing scene that would be ripped off by George Lucas and Bryan Singer a mere two and three years later; and finally, we try to understand why the director of this film tried everything in his power to make it less entertaining by depriving us of dinosaurs and mole men.

That’ll do it for this episode, folks. And remember, enjoy Taco Bell responsibly.
