In this episode of Historically St. Pete, St. Petersburg Museum of History Executive Director Rui Farias talks about a new documentary made by local filmmakers. Says Rui: Razed is destined to become an award-winning film, and Roundhouse Creative's Andrew Lee and Tara Segall are the magicians behind this provocative historical documentary that raises questions about the current situation and the future. A few months back we had the honor to have Gwendolyn Reese on the show. Gwendolyn is the President of the African American Heritage Association, and a life-long resident of St. Pete. Miss Gwendolyn shared her memories of growing up in the historic Gas Plant District, and her thoughts of the area’s future. Recently she explained how a Gas Plant resident reunion in 2021 sparked the idea of getting this history on film." Learn more about Roundhouse Creative: https://roundhousecreative.com/
