Trial Of Caleb Flynn Day 3: What Did The ATF K9 Find?

The search outside Ashley Flynn's home and the DNA work inside it came together in testimony from ATF Special Agent David McMullen and BCI DNA specialist Lindsay Koennig. 

McMullen testified that he and K9 Hilton made a thorough search around the house and along the wood line. According to McMullen, Hilton did not alert to any of the areas searched outside the home. That evidence lands in a case where prosecutors allege Caleb Flynn staged the scene to look like a home invasion and the defense says investigators wrongly focused on him. 

Koennig then described the DNA testing she performed on evidence collected from the house. She testified that she examined DNA recovered from doorknobs and other surfaces and compared evidence with samples from Ashley and Caleb Flynn. Caleb Flynn has pleaded not guilty to the charges stemming from Ashley Flynn's death.
