Caleb Flynn Court Coverage Day 3: K9 Search Turned Up WHAT?

A K9 search produced no alert outside the Flynn home, while a DNA specialist explained what she tested inside it. Those were the two forensic lanes jurors heard from ATF Special Agent David McMullen and BCI specialist Lindsay Koennig. 

McMullen testified that he searched around the residence and along the wood line with K9 Hilton. He said Hilton did not alert anywhere outside the house during that search. The prosecution alleges Caleb Flynn staged Ashley Flynn's death to mimic a burglary; the defense says Ashley was killed by an intruder and investigators rushed toward Caleb. 

Koennig testified that she tested DNA recovered from doorknobs and other household surfaces. She also analyzed DNA samples from Ashley and Caleb. The testimony details provided for this episode identify the testing process but do not provide a specific DNA result, so no match, exclusion, or unidentified profile is being inferred here. 

Caleb Flynn has pleaded not guilty to all charges in Ashley Flynn's death.
