United Kingdom provides an additional £18m funding for humanitarian assistance in #SouthSudan

UK minister for African Affairs, Andrew Stevenson, who is currently on a visit to #SouthSudan has disclosed that the United Kingdom has provided an additional £18m funding for humanitarian assistance in #SouthSudan
Part of the funding will go towards assisting victims of the current floods and those facing hunger in various parts of the country.

Mr. Stevenson has also called for clear concrete steps towards full implementation of the peace agreement.
As part of his visit to the country, he met with President Salva Kir and First vice president Taban Deng Gai to discuss concrete steps of delivering on the Revitalized Peace Agreement.
